Dear contractors, partners and customers! We hereby declare that in connection with the latest news about the imposition of sanctions against certain Kyrgyz companies and legal entities for trying to circumvent sanctions against the Russian Federation and for supplying of sanctioned goods, Bishkek Electronic Company (hereinafter BELC) announces the following:
From July 24th, 2023, BELC will check all counterparties, partners and clients for the status of companies and other legal entities for being in the sanctions lists, and BELC reserves the right to require founders’ passports from our partners. We will carefully study the issue of whether the founders of our clients are citizens of the Russian Federation or their affiliates.
We also declare that we will stop all attempts from Russian citizens to contact BELC and will not have any business relationship with persons having relations with the Russian Federation and / or helping Russian businesses to circumvent sanctions.
Since July 24th, 2023, BELC has been implementing the company’s auto-compliance control system (IGK). The purpose of this work is to obtain detailed information about our clients and partners, containing the following information:
— the composition of the founders and their citizenship,
— the composition of legal entities in the sanctions lists,
— about the presence / absence of affiliation to any business in the Russian Federation.
These steps are due to our commitment to respecting international laws, as well as preventing violations of the imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation. We ask our contractors, partners and customers to understand the current difficult situation and the necessary urgent measures taken on our part, and we also look forward to further cooperation.
